WANTED : 3d Printer Kit+Electronics - UK

It seems that a basic mendel can be made for approx $300, though in the UK it seems that most things are overpriced compared to the states.

I wouldn't mind building my own but I'd need to know how to get all of the electronics as this is my weakest knowledge area - to this end does anyone sell whole printer kits or plastics + electronics + extruder, I could source the bars and bolts/nuts/screws myself.

Failing that any 2nd hand printers for sale?
