I've been needing a good bowden extruder for my delta and was unable to find one I liked, so I made my own 2 to 1 ratio belt driven extruder for 1.75mm filament.
This extruder is basically some ideas from others out there with some modifications that I added.
The extruder comes with a Nema 17 KL17H248-15-4A stepper, 76 oz-in, and a built in 40mm cooling fan.
After many adjustments and changes the final version works great,
the hobbed dual sided shaft is made from 8mm stainless, you can add any of your own thumb wheels to the unused end of the shaft if wanting to, all other hardware is stainless steel too.
I've modified the filament guide and holes so that there is virtually no empty space for the filament to get jammed up in, it's very easy to load the filament too,
just feed it through the guide and start spinning the pulley, it comes right through the Bowden tube adapter..
I have 5 fully assembled and tested units for sale, I was thinking of asking around $75 dollars each, if anyone is interested send me a message.
