Anyone interested?

I'm wondering if anyone is interested in an hot end with the insulator as oak dowel? I did not come up with the idea of using oak as an insulator (this guy did [www.thingiverse.com] ) but I think its a good idea. I'm making one and if your interested i might start selling them assembled for around £25. I'm not looking for orders i'm just seeing if anyone's interested. If you are interested can you please reply and if i get 10 people i will start making them. I ordered the parts to make 10 on sunday and they should be arriving this week.

I think you will find they start shedding "stuff" above 220 to 230C.

The techzone Mendel and a few other early RepRaps used oak as a hotend insulator with ok results but they were quickly abandoned do to the wood charring and turning to ash after not to long.
