Cedar City / SUU / Southern Utah - Yea, we exist!

I'm down here, thought I'd give a shout out here on the forums to see if anyone else was too. I'm a student at SUU, and I'm 90% into a Prusa Mendel build, I hope to be up and printing in a month. I'm willing to share knowledge and parts with anyone else in the region if it would do any good.

I am up and printing. Anyone interested in parts or info can message me. For now, I am a group of one

I am back up and printing if anyone wants some RP parts. PLA, good quality, cheap and local

Well I'm up and printing..... Quality is still a work in progress but its getting there

Weird thing is now my hot end thermister is acting up, It reads correctly at lower temps but reads way to hot at higher temps... I thought the hot end jammed but it just was not hot enough.

I have another so no worries!

I am new to 3d printer. Want to learn how others are doing. How is your printer working? Can you share any tips on how to get the best quality print?

I have been interested in 3d printing now for awhile. My next step is to buy my first machine and go from there. I have done much in the cad field and machineing industry. lathes milling machines you name it I may have done it. I'm really excited to explore this area of computers. I would like to be part of group that is willing to push the limits of what this thing can (and more than likely)will develope into.

Well its about 2.5 hours down to ST. George but i'm always willing to help someone that wants to get in!
If it where me I would either put together a Kossel or a Prism Mendle.

If you need some parts printed just let me know and I can run them off for ya.
