Antikythera mechanism

Hi Guys,
since I saw a documentation on TV about the Discovery and Analysis of the ancient Antikythera mechanism, I wanted to build a 3d printed version of it.

[en.wikipedia.org]

In archeology, this was something "Indiana Jones" would have searched for.
The oldest, most complex clock/calender/navigator ever found.

Unfortunately, I donĀ“t have the right CAD-Software to do it.
But if anyone feels the urge to build one, I`m happy...
Olaf

Hi Olaf, I'm interested!

How would you approach it?

Cheers

This is the second post I have seen on forums about this clock.
Are you the gentleman from Brass googles?

Hmm, this would be interesting to design.
A hell of a lot of gears tho.
