OpenSCAD-Module in FreeCAD with Windows -> frustration

I've tried to teach FreeCAD 0.13 to read OpenSCAD-Files und Windows 7 for three days and it still doesn't work.

Is anybody out there who was successful with that?

Meanwhile even the selftest of FreeCAD fails, no matter what version is installed.

I configured FreeCAD as is shown in their wiki (openscadexecutable="blalblabla"), tried hundreds of different pathnames and- formats, deleted local settings before reinstalling FreeCAD, installed several Python versions on my system (2.6, 2.7, 3.2 in 32-bit and 64-bit), but nothing really works.

Somewhere on the track FreeCAD even stopped to selftest successfully anymore.

Does anybody have experiences with this under Windows 7?

Robert,

This looks like a bug. The best place to ask for FreeCAD help is the FreeCAD forum. AFAIK none of the regular FreeCAD developers monitor the RepRap forums.
