Does anyone know how to make threads that fit 2 liter pop bottles for use in Openscad?

I want to make an object that I can screw a 2 liter pop bottle into, so I'm looking to make the female threads.

I'm also trying to figure out how to do the same thing with standard garden hose threads. Is it possible to do that in Openscad?

There are different libraries to make standard and simple threads.
For example Poor man's openscad screw library

It's not easy in OpenScad but there is an easy way in OpenJSCad.org.
Look at spring example at OpenJSCAD.org
