Hai guys! JohnSully here. this is my first post, so go easy on mesmiling smiley
Ok. to topic. I was wondering if there are any 3D modeling software out there that is able to slice models like any other slicer out there e.g. slic3r or cura or skeinforge, but without the Gcode for the printhead's path finding. So essentially, i want it to just slice models into many different layers and thats it. This is because I want to work towards the direction of making my own DLP reprap. can anyone help me please?

oh yeah, if there already is a topic written on this, i'm really really sorry. I'm sure you guys know that lost and "dont know where to look" feeling when you first join a forums!

thanks in advance! grinning smiley

i'm not too sure if these emoticons seem a little weird. oh well

Slic3r has a SVG export option for DLP.

I believe Skeinforge can also output such images (in addition to the gcode).
