I need the E_STEP_PER_MM value for Wades Extruder...? Thanx MB

Edit: oh and how many degrees per step is your motor.... mine is 1.8

oh and my nossle is 0.5mm

If your setup differs i can do the math... i just need a base setting... your nossel size and motor's degree spec...

Thanks a BUNCH MB

Check the very bottom of this page:

[objects.reprap.org]

There is an xls/ods document that you can punch your numbers into to get the steps/mm for the firmware.

I also have a new Wade/Nophead extruder, and am a total noob.

Using the spreadsheet is great - but which steps_per_mm do I enter? steps_per_mm of feedstock? or filament?

And the "Ideal Head Feedrate" - This should be entered into the reprap host preferences?

Lastly - how fast should I be capable of extruding?

After experimenting for a while, I can extrude - but very slowly.

Thanks a bunch.
