My resistor in the jhead died and i am looking to get new one of ebey.

What size is the hole for the "resistor"? You may be able to get a cartridge heater to fit it, which would be a better solution.

Looks like that head is designed to accept a 6mm x 15mm cartridge heater. You can find these on eBay. They are typically available in 12V and 24V versions, usually 40W. A cartridge heater will stand high temperatures better than most power resistors.
