do you think, its's possible to cover a surface with a normally not conductring paint and then draw/carbonize with a laser only the surface-areas, that should be coated with copper?
In MID this is done with particles and chemicals embedded in injection-moulded plastic parts, but it could be a good idea to try this with a good adhering paint on any desired surface ...
