Hey Toronto Group!

At our last meetup at hacklab, we decided to have meetings on a monthly basis! Just thought I'd make a thread here so that everyone knows when the next one is coming...

And here it is:

When: Monday March 26th 7:00 pm
Where: Site 3 - 718R OSSINGTON AVE TORONTO ON M6G 3T7

Bring your reprap! We'll get it working!

Don't have one? We'll print you one!

I believe there is but i'm not 100% sure. There is a church on the corner which must have parking.

Good news,

Found the Green P lot near the site using Google maps.

Bad news,

My Wife is sick, so I have to watch the kids.

I was really hoping to get my unit better tuned. Having problems with small gears. sad smiley

Will be there next time.

I knew I was forgetting something. I log in, and I am now kicking myself for missing yesterdays meeting. I am sorry I have a poor memory. I will do better for next time.

Hi, im new to this, does anyone know when the next meeting is, I would like to come in and learn, I want to build my own 3d printer, and what better way to start than talk to the people who have built one already.

Next meeting is September 24th, come check out the NEW Site 3 Prusa!

Yes that's right, Site 3 now has a reprap of it's own. Now if you want a 3D printer you can just go print yourself one!

We will be setting up a cost/gram system for use of the filament and shop time, but you can bring your own (3mm) filament and go nuts.

I'll be working on the user manual for it over the next few weeks, so if you want to help let me know. I'm going to making a troubleshooting guide by un-calibrating one setting at a time and photographing the result. Also looking to have a monthly course on how to use it.

Hope to see you at the end of the month.
