G30 S-1 Moves Nozzle from the bed, but not towards it

Was trying to get ready for mesh bed leveling and going through the steps to verify the probe. When I send the G30 S-1 command to probe a point, the bed moves down from the nozzle and then I get an error about the Z probe was not triggered.

I am running on a Duet 0.8.5 with 1.17c firmware. I have a BLTouch probe that is working just fine when using the G32 command. Not sure what is going on with the G30 though.
