I'm thinking about building a bigger printer this year and would want to use a Duet but I need/want an Ethernet port as Wifi where I want to place the printer is terrible.

Are there any plans to release a new Duet with Ethernet this year or would I be best looking for a cheap 0.8.5 card ?

The Duet Ethernet prototype is on my desk, running Duet Web Control and Telnet. We should have more prototypes within a few weeks, with production to follow subject to good feedback from users with the prototypes.

That's really good to know, I will hold off rushing to find a cheap 0.8.5 board.

Yes, that's really good to know.

I was just about to purchase a Duet WiFi, but would much prefer Ethernet so I may just hold off for now.

I know it's cheeky, but if your looking for anyone to test a prototype I would be happy to help tongue sticking out smiley
