TMC2130 Stallguard endstops not working...
January 18, 2018 01:14AM
Hello!
For the last couple of weeks, I've been trying to figure out why I can't get these to work...no luck, sadly.
I've moved my testing out of my printer and into a loose MKS Gen L board, Pins_Ramps edited so X&Y steppers CS pin is on 66&65.

Using the Stallguard example from the TMC2130 library, I get the expected result plotted, when reistance is applied to the stepper.
I connected up a meter to check the output from the diagnostics pin, connecting it to ground. I get a zero volts, ramping up to just short of five volts as greater resistance is applied to the stepper.

However, when I switch back to Marlin, I can't convince it to have any output on the diagnotic pin.

Hopefully, the attached will give away some stupid mistake I've made!

Some of these MKS boards have an external pullup on the endstops, ie not disable in software. This may cause you issues

Easy way to test is just move the endstop pin to spare exp port
