disable extruder, hot end and other stuff

Good afternoon
RepRap Commmunity

I'm currently assembling a Repstrap using parts from scanners and printers
i have a standart, Ramps+mega+4 A4988, steppers taken from the scanners and printers 4,
and 6 mec-endstops from old cd drives,
but no thermistors nor a heated bed nor a normal extrudder and hot end
i'm still setting up a mechanical frame but
i cant get it to run without it stopping
because of firmware temperature safeguards.

the plan is using a 3d printer pen as the extruder in the short run
and maybe (once ive printed a more traditional extruder)
buy the rest of the components
another thing i'd like to try is to use a syringe extruder

for now i wloud like to dummy the extruder and setup and the the XYZ Axis

Thanks in advance

So basically its not a 3d printer as far as firmware is concerned

so consider using GRBL firmware (CNC firmware)

the temp control etc is rather embedded into the core design for most firmware...
(im not saying its not do-able, but depends on how much hair you want to loose)

The other option is to just replace the thermistors with a 100K resistors, then the machine always thinks its at 25C, but you still have to disable the cold extrusion safety measures

well basically i want to replace
the normal extruder for a 3d printing pen
maybe connecting a thermistor to the pen
if i cant, the i would try to use a
syringe and paste extruder

but right now i want to temporally disable it
in order to set it up an test it, (the Mechanical Carriages)

I disabled it according to
[solidutopia.com]
, and used a dummy Temp
but it still crashes starting the print
