My wife's Fitbit lost it's button when it was dropped (again). So, I printed a new one. Absolutely the smallest thing I've ever printed (British 5p coin for scale).

I went to the local Engineering show the other week.
Plan was to buy a mini lathe.
Came home with this Fisher 3D box of bits.
Only thing missing was a jar of "patience" so I supplied my own.
Took a week to make it with double/treble checking everything.
Commissioning was straightforward apart from the Z Probe problem (mentioned on another forum feed). Solved easily enough.
So as advised first print was the robot which was promptly confiscated by "she who must be obeyed".
Also took the advise of DAcreates on Thingiverse and made a set of the feet to bring the unit up off the desk to aid ventilation.

So far a great machine, looks like the lathe will have to wait.
