i have absolutely no idea how to fix this. trying to change my firmware on my hictop and this is what im getting, any help would be appreciated

Please elaborate. What version are you trying to setup.
I have two Hictops both running Marlin 1.1.5, And have All Marlin 1.1.X version below already configured to work with a stock Hictop 3DP's.

What did you set motherboard to in configuration.h

In Arduino IDE, go to the tools menu and go to "boards" and make sure you have your Arduino board selected. In my case, it's the arduino/genuino mega or mega 2560. Yours may differ.
