What is the most direct path to Dual Extruders?

Hi,

I'm about three weeks in to 3D printing. It is AWESOME, but... I already have several design ideas that will require a dissolvable support material. I also would like to print in two colors. I was thinking of getting a second MK8 and building something like this: Dual MK8

What do you think?

Thank you

Those dual MK8's are to heavy for the standard X-carrier. You better look for the E3D chimera and a Bowden-tube setup for the steppers. Currently there are some remote drive solutions under development for the chimera, you might want to try them and get rid of the Bowden tube. ( see Zesty Nimble and Flex3Drive )
