Hi,

I want to add a cooling fan that goes directly to the exit of the hot end. [as you can see at the photos i have only one fan that goes to the cool end]

what do i need to do in order to control its speed? and which fan is the right one? (regular 40mm 12v with 2 wires is good?)

(I read that i need to connect the fan to D9 on the bord)

Yes a 2 wire 12v fan is ideal for print cooling.
The extruder cooing fan should be connected to the 12v out pins so it is powered all the time.
The new print fan should be connected to the 'FAN' connections,the fan speed on this connection is controlled by the firmware

ok great!

so every 2 wire 12v fan is ok?
does it matter how to connect it to D9 (plus minus \ black red wires)?

Yes it does matter.
But if it blows in the wrong direction. Just switch the wires to the opposite place.

I have another question,
what if i want to connect more than one fan?

a. how do i connect them? simply plug 2 wires at the same socket?
b. do i need two fans or do you think that one fan will be just fine?

The fan output pins are capable of supplying several amps if needed, so

a/ yes just connect multiple fans in parallel (red to red. black to black)
b/ personal preference, i have seen printers with 1 2 or even 4 fans used for print cooling (i find 1 does quite well on my printer for pla)
