i have got CTC i3 DIY. Tried to print out [www.thingiverse.com] but part are passing with a lot of force. Is there easy way to offset all parts to get more clearance?

I need to make holes bigger and thins that fits into it smaller. I saw in blender Plugin that makes inset/offset but though that may be it is possible to do something similar with slicer.
I am really new to 3d printing. Can you suggest good tutorial to calibrate i3?
