P802M Prusa i3 Unofficial Support Thread

I hope we can pool our questions and answers about the Zonestar P802M 3D printer.

The P802M came with a 5 button LCD screen. I have not been able to identify it.

I have added the P802M Firmware, P802M Printed Parts and P802M Instructions on a Google Drive.
Hope they help.

That's one of the standard reprap screens.

Thanks for the reply RRuser. I did not specify that I need to know what the #DEFINE would be in marlin. The P802M uses Repetier v0.91 and the Repetier configurator. The v0.91 configurator does not run on IE, Chrome or Opera on my computer so I need to convert to marlin to add a Inductive sensor for bed leveling.
It is strange about the v0.91 configuration tool because the first time I used it it ran OK, but now it will not run even though I have cleared cache and taken other steps to use it. The configuration tool will come up but will not allow me to save the configuration files, the download screen is blank.

Thanks

Wish I could help you more but the V0.91 Repetier Configuration tool will not download any configuration I make. V0.92 will not compile so I am having to convert to Marlin.

0.91 doesn´t support using the 12864 full graphic display I think, because there are displays shown in USER INTERFACE ?
But there is a lot of other trouble with repetier. Is it better to use Marlin and can I use the Repetierhost with it ?

Yes you can use Repetier with Marlin.

I put the P802M Sensor Mount in the [drive.google.com]
This sensor holder is for the SN04 series inductive sensors, but should fit others.

An adjustable Inductive sensor holder has been uploaded to the google drive. It is much easier to adjust the distance between the bed and the sensor. Print 1 each adj top and 1 each adj bottom file.
Items needed:
1 each M3x50MM screw or equiv in SAE
1 each M6x40MM compression spring or equiv in SAE

still no identification of the lcd?

I have identified the LCD supplied with the P802M.
It is PiBot Display/Controller extension with 20x4 character display

In Repetier Firmware use #define FEATURE_CONTROLLER 8

hiho,

iam just finished to asseble my pursa i3. works all fine at the beginning, but then nothing goes anymore. The LCD just light a bit up and when i turn off the power for a short sec i see version fimreware and so on screen. when i connect to repetier host it always says "brown out reset initialising".

Just the question, am i right that brown out means that something is wrong with the power supply?

Measure the voltage on the output of the power supply. Mine is 12.12V and I do not have a problem. There is an adjustment screw on the bottom right of the power supply. I should give up to 2V additional output. Also make sure the wires from the power supply are tight especially since it is happening after the printer has started operating.
Will it heat the extruder without heating the bed?
Will it heat the bed without heating the extruder?
Also make sure you slid the input voltage selector switch to 110V, it comes set for 220V from the factory, this will cause chronic low voltage.

Hi members!
Im happy to find this forum, i have too this printer.
under assembling. (in 2nd day i have it smiling smiley )
but i have a problem now, in first steps.
My idler mount (x-axis pulley mount) is wrong, i think.
i think the bearing is not good position, it is not paralell and its not front of each other (cant meet the holes/isnt opposite = rotated )
if i assemble it to the motor and slider rod to the hole.
When they in right place (in hole and in motor) they are thight and can not rotate/move all of them.
how can i solve it? becouse if i disassemble the bears i cant assemble it again never.

sorry my bad english.

Adjust the voltage higher on the power supply output
