Was wondering if it's posible to dump the marlin fw so I can program.it to an extra mks 1.1 board I have I know how to upload but no clue if it can download from board
From what I've searched on other source than 3d printer board, you could pull them but will be in a .hex file through the icsp port. Correct me on this one
But I'm unsure if dumped hex program can be uploaded since I only know hex file is often for burning bootloader on atmega or some other chip to make it work
Just load a fresh marlin sketch to the new board. Use an LCD screen to copy your parameters and make the changes in marlin, or edit and save to eeprom. Yes, a few other pieces of code will need changing - but a whole lot easier.
