auto leveling

i'm having a BIG issue with the z-probe autoleveling...
during the execution of G29 the probe "gives up"... : meaning: it moves to position 1, the probe lowers, moves down until the micro-switch touches the glass, then moves back up a little (1mm?) and then slowly down. At this point, the probe moves to half up position ... obviously the whole thing crashes into the glas if I don't stop it... This doesn't happen every time! Sometimes happens when it checks position 2 or 3. I can't figure out why...

Anyone faced this before ? Solution ?

My setup: Prusa i3 with MKS Gen 1.1 (http://reprap.org/wiki/MKS_GEN_V1.1) connected to a Raspberry Pi 2 running octoprint. Firmware is latest in development branch (as of today) and octopi recently updated as well.

It appears that this is caused by enabling the PROBE_SERVO_DEACTIVATION_DELAY. By disabling this the above issue disagreed, but unfortunately I'm left with the servo jitter...

Anyone has a solution, I am listening...
