CTC prusa i3 extruder stepper not working

Hi, been running a CTC Prusa i3 for about a week without problems but now the extruder stepper will not respond to commands.
Swapped the extruder stepper for the X stepper and and extruder stepper works, X stepper does not work as extruder.
Swapped the leads over same result.
Swapped the stepper control boards over same result.

Any help pse

I have sorted the problem, school boy error I did not have the nozzle up to temperature so the extruder would not work. eye rolling smiley
