Heat bed Mk3

hi was wondering if anyone can help out in how to put leds on the Mk3 bed
the bed will be power at 12v
just confused in how to put leds on it and i wasnt able to find no clear information about it
here is the pick on heatbed i got



from what i understand on smd pad on right side i put a 1k ohm resistor?
on top left goes 1 led (what color should be? green? and and where is cathode and anode?)
on bottom left goes other led (what color should be? red? and and where is cathode and anode?)

i apreciate any help

Doesn't really matter what color, most people choose red, for hot, or danger.

the 3 sets of pads are for two LED's and one resistor

The idea is you use two identical LED's each in the opposite direction, so no matter what the polarity the bed is wired up one LED will be lit.
Once its wired up, the polarity will never change, so trying to have two colors wont work. Its heating is on or not on indicator not a hot/cold indicator

You select the resistor to suit your LED.
