Z axis no movement

Hi,

I just completed a RepRapGuru Prusa i3 v2. I uploaded the reprap guru config file to the board. I select the Home option and I cannot seem to get the z Azis to move up or down. The motors spin but there is no movement.

Can anyone assist?

If the motors spin, have you checked if the screws that fix the coupler to the motor axis and rod are tightened? Are the rods turning?

Everything is tight and the rods turn just fine.

Did you put the m5 nuts in the X ends for the m5 screw thread to go into?

Yes i have the nuts in place. I have the Z axis moving now. I was able to glue the nuts in the trap and then used Repetier to test the Z axis by itself and its working now. Thanks every one for assistance.
