Introducing Myself. I've almost built a Prusa I3

I had a couple of month's playing with a Dremel 3D40 which had excellent print quality and was very easy to use, but I found the Autodesk Print Studio software unstable. I got through a few kilos of filament and was blown away with the possibilities of 3D printing.

I've just built a Prusa kit but joined the forum because I had a horrible problem with the Z-axis doing random things, but I swapped teh pololu over and now the Y-axis is completely wobbly.

So I have a 2D printer and it will be a few days before I have a fully functional machine.

I decided on a Prusa because I want the flexibility to play with enhancements and using different types of filament without spending a fortune.

I got the Prusa kit from a UK company because ii had a proper build manual, and a number of 'enhancements' and it's all gone together well enough although a few details didn't match the manual.

I might add ball screws and a levelling sensor.
