I just set my printer up with a 2nd extruder in a 2 in 1 out/ y splitter configuration and I can manually drive each extruder just fine.
I wanted to test each extruder individually first, so I assigned a new process in simplify3d and made sure that the 2nd extruder was assigned to the job. Now the printer goes through the autolevel procedure fine and then continues to move towards the x tower and up until crashing into it.
When I assign the 1st extruder everything works fine.
I also tried cura15 which also autolevels correctly but make no distinction between the extruder no matter which one I assign during slicing, it always uses the first.
Any ideas?
