Bed leveling

Well, I have bought a Prusa I3 for over a month now and don't seem to be able to level the bed. With the auto level it just scratched the bed and another time it went out of bounds and kept going down braking the blower. I only was able to print the sample stl that comes with the printer but it was not good at all. I switched to manual leveling but haven't been able to print a decent part and when I feel I'm close because I printed something almost good, I do small adjustments and all goes to hell. When I level the bed manually there's always one corner of the bed either to close or to far from the hot end and when it auto homes it is to far from the bed and the filament doesn't stick. A little help please!!

Maybe the bed is not completely flat? And since the autolevel might not be perfectly configured it might mess something. Do you have access to the original configuration.h file? You can increase the autolevel points and also adjust the probe position

My printers:
-Makerbot TOM (#5215, circa 2011), MK6 extruder, ABS 3 mm
-HICTOP Prusa i3 (modded for auto-level, thread screws), ABS/PLA 1.75 mm
