So this /\ is the printer i bought from Geeetech right so,
it worked fine for a few months then the Extruder motor failed and didn't spin i tried everything to make it but nope,
I bought a new motor from smartfriendz and plugged it in
It failed.

So i tried plugging it
A in the X motor Worked then.
B back in Didn't Work
and finally
C Switching cables Didn't work

I think it has something to do with the drive Correct me if I'm wrong

Regards Copper

Its probably a dead stepper driver... but if they are swappable on your controller, I have no idea... no idea what controller they use these-days

also check the stepper wiring... I’ve read somewhere that these machines have a different stepper on the extruder, and the wring is different to the X, Y and Z

Hi guys,

+1 for a dead driver. Try to replace it for a brand new one.

Hi,

There's different MKS boards : Base, Gen, Sbase... Some have removable drivers.
What reference is it ?

Most of MKS boards have one output per driver.
You can use that output to run a new external driver even if the soldered one is out of order.

MKS Base

It has Extruder 1 and 0
Extruder 0 = 1
Extruder 1 = 2

(Had to figure that out b4)
