fail to create abs juice

Hi,

I put abs filament (about 1m) into a jar with acetone and i am waiting for 1 week until now and nothning happen ,the abs is only shine and the acetone still clear.

picture attached

What can i do? what i did wrong?

Either not Acetone or not ABS

Wouldn't be the first time that Filament had been marked wrong

... or highly 'blended' ABS with not solvable additives ... but then too the filament schould swell slightly and get 'soft' at touch.

If not, then it's a PLA-blend ...

The abs is 'soft' at touch .
I will ask the supplier of the abs if it is true abs .
