smoke came a coming (that ive read from others) while trying to run the heated bed. luckily i got a new ramps and arduino coming. from the d8 + pin i checked it back to the psu ground. PSU volts is 12.16. + coming from the d8 pin is 10.55 volts. this is getting frustrating. i had it all calibrated (or started to) then i get smoke ;/.

Could it be the MOSFET on your power output for the heated bed?

If your heatbed needs too much power your RAMPS gonna smoke. Normally a RAMPS can handle max. 11A on connection 8. That is a heatbed with max. 130W. Alot of beds have 160W which is too much for a RAMPS.
