3D Printer Czar has a Prusa i3 kit for $499 with free international shipping and I believe they pay import duties. They also have a Rostock Mini Pro for $459 which I purchased, though I wouldn't recommend it for a first printer. The build size is smaller than advertised and deltas seem to need a lot of calibration to get printing.

Another option might be the PrintrBot Simple. The wood kit is only $350, though it ships from the US, so shipping and import duties probably kill the savings.
