Hi all, i want to ask if there is any research or comparations to streght of object builded with 3d printers. Also how much a single wire is able to stack or melt with another single wire in a 3d printed object.

I ask this because i want to know for my project if is better a 3d printer or a plexiglas cut. If it is more resistant to torque and less flexible a 3d printed panel of 3 mm thickness or a 3mm plexiglas sheet.

Also, how much can be precise a 3d printer filament? It have a 0,3mm precision like it's plastic filament diameter?

ABS is weaker than acrylic. [www.matweb.com]
3D printing makes it even weaker due to the frailty of laminations. The precision depends on the printer.
