I was looking for advice from people who have the tri-colour mendel. I am thinking of getting the kit from RepRapPro and want to know is it worth the extra money. Is the accuracy/resolution of the multiple colours actually any good for intricate objects or are you as well off staying with mono-colour if precision is a concern.
Also is there much complexity added with the extra heads. Is it more likely to fail etc. I am not worried too much about being difficult to build, more that functional prints will result.
Any advice would be appreciated as I just need to dive in but am worried about wasting money!!
