Gen6 problem
June 01, 2014 11:14AM
Hi all,

I have a gen6.d board which worked a few weeks ago. Lately I tried to upload a new firmware, just through arduino. Before this I took a backup with AVR dude which gave me a .hex file.
Later I tried to get back to my old firmware, with this backup, and since I tried that I can't communicate with the board anymore.

Each time I try to upload a firmware I get following error in arduino:

ardude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0xd8
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0xd8

I tried every version of arduino, none of them are working. I have the correct com port and the correct board selected, just like I did when it was still working.
My gen6 is listed as "Usb serial port", so I guess FTDI driver is installed correctly? (I have windows 8.1)

Anybody who can help me with this problem? Because I really don't know what to do anymore.

Thanks!
