Software and Firmware Issues

Hi,
So I have a Prusa mendel with z-axis stabilizers, running Gen 6 electronics and have previously had it running. I have had to do a clean install on my pc, after re-installing the firmware and software I can no longer get the printer to work. I use Repetier-Host and when I give manual commands it goes from idle to command waiting. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do. I am lost. Thanks.

Have you modified the config files so they match your printer?

Check your baud rate and COM port in the Repetier Host settings. You may also need to re-install any drivers required to connect to the board.

I re-installed all of the drivers and checked the baud rate and com port, and it appears that the printer isn't even registering as being connected

Is the primer driver board powering up?
Do you get +5V on the board?
Have you swapped out USB cables?
Have you tried another USB port on the PC?
Have you tried another PC?

If it's got power and it's not recognized by a couple of computers ... that's not good.
