Extruder help

when extruding alot my extruder will begin "clicking" just like in the video above and i dont know how to fix it.

ive boosted the extruder pot by half a turn and the clicking has minimized, but still does it occasionally.

could it be the friction between the molten plastic and the filament causing the motor to slip ?

also im looking for a new extruder/hotend combo that wont fail me like this one has been, any suggestions ?

I've had similar problems and it looks like your filament is very hard to push inside the hotend.

I strongly suggest you get a new hotend.

Some hot ends can only go just so fast. The answer may be to slow down. Change the max feed rate in your firmware to better match what your setup can do. You might do better with a different filament or different temperatures. Speed seems like the most likely fix.
