Problem solved!! I replaced both the fuses with in-line car fuse holders, unfortunately they were out of the multi slot ones. The bed heats right up no problem and the fuse stays pleasantly cool. I have 15A ATC fuses rated up to 32 VDC in there now for both of them. Thanks so much for the help Bob! That offer for a drink stands the next time you make it up to Massachusetts thanks!!

I *hate* those PTC (Yellow) fuses. I first ran into them in 1975 and have never been a big fan....smileys with beersmileys with beersmileys with beersmileys with beer
