Stepper motor making noise but not responding

dear RepRap fellows,

I almost completed my 3d printer. (Kossel K800XL)
I can send a print command to my printer and it will start printing.
But there's only one small problem. My extruder (Motor) is not responding.
I can hear the stepper motor loud and clear when i turn on the power.
I tried to crank up ''and'' reduce the voltage from the stepper motor, but it still won't respond.
My stepper motor is at maximum voltage right now. i tried several things in my configuration.h,
but with no success. But there's more!

When i allow Cold extrusion ''M302 S1'' the motor will stop responding somehow.
The X Y and Z stepper motor will freeze but only for a short amount of time
The command line is behaving kinda strange to this,

Again: (The stepper motor is not moving)

After a long time of waiting, the extruder motor will start again making noise.
And if i send an command to the extruder motor, the whole cycle will start over again.

just to make the story a bit more short.

''The extruder motor will shutdown when i send an command and won't move during a print''

I would be more than glad if you guys could help me fixing this problem.

Why did you define more than one pin for dir and step for EXT0? And what about the inverse setting?

thanks for replying

I just downloaded the firmware from the Repetier website.
The most things are in the default settings
I removed the commands that you listed and this is what happend.

The motor didin't shutdown anymore and the X Y and Z motor won't freeze anymore so thats really good.
the extruder motor still won't respond ''but'' repetier host don't give negative values anymore in the registry.

Is it some how possible that the Stepper motor is plugged in backwards.
Sound to me like My first 3D Printer when the extruder wiring was wrong.

Or 2nd suggestion maybe it is running in reverse direction when you extrude it retracts, this happen to me and is more common.

Thank you guys,

The extruder motor is working fine right now.
I removed the step2, dir2, enable2 and inverse2.
The motor didin't move first but i forgot to use the M302 S1 command. I think that the problem indicates to the inverse settings. I had one
"inverse 0" but also a "inverse2 1." So i think that the motor turned off because it created a short circuit.
