Pre build reccomendations

Hi,

I have just ordered a Prusa mendal kit from [www.thereprapkitstore.co.uk] and while I wait for it to be delivered I was hoping I could get some tips on how best to begin the build once it arrives.

Mostly asking if there are any specialised tools that would be good to have, how much space is needed & what drivers I should be looking for.

The basics:

(2) Spanners (m8)
Nutdrivers (m3, m4)
Tape Measure
Screwdriver
Allen Keys
Digital calipers (these are a must buy)

If you need/want to alter any of the wiring:

Wire Cutter/Stripper
Soldering Iron
Solder
Electrical tape or heatgun & heatshrink tubing


If you want to make it look nice (contain the wiring):

zipties
spiral wrap or expandable mesh sleeving

By no means is this an exhaustive list.

In terms of space this thread may help a little : Build space . A level build space is not essential but nice to have.
For tools, I bought pre assembled electronics but still found a multimeter handy (I already had one so didnt need to buy).
