motors

I'm starting to get everything for my reprap so I found some useful motors but with 6 cables (unipolars) and I don't know if they are gonna work for the reprap...would be ok if I use them with only 4 cables? (they will still be unipolars) or do I need bipolars for sure???

... motors with 6 wires can be wired to unipolar or bipolar function - simply ignore the middle wires and use the outer wires of the coils for higher torque ... or use an outer and a middle wire for higher max. speed ...
