Hi,
I have read something about 3D printing related emission. Most people does not really care about it but I want to think about a pracital solution. According to this article a hepa filter is not able to remove produced nano particels.

They suggest to use photocatalytic filters to neutralize these particels. I was googeling around for a photocatalytic coating until I realized sunscreen often contains Titanium-Dioxide (TiO2) with the same effect. With UV light (>390nm) it becomes effective. How about coating a large-pored and high surface area object like a sponge or even a plate with TiO2/sunscreen. To its surface an UV light source is shining. Some kind of air circulation fan shall be used to clean printer's fumes.
What do you think about this? How you could measure effectiveness of such a system?
