Hi Im building a smartcore. My bed has been giving ,me some issues. It was moving up and down at the correct speed but now suddenly started to move at super high speeds and is moving to far up/down. When i move it to another motor pin it moves fine, Heres what i have tired so far

- New board
- Checked the micro stepping pins
- Reflashed the firmware

Any ideas ?

What a weird problem . Each time i had this problem was because i had an old Z setting from the smartrap , with a screw , running at 7000 steps/mm . Maybe you could check the firmware if you have a old setting still running ?

the best is to reset the memory with a M502 ( reload default factory settings).

Ho.. I forgot :

You need to do an M502 ( load defaut ) AND an M500 again to store again those default values !

at least, it seems that the problem was this one ( old eeprom values ). I remember loosing hours on that smiling smiley
