What do the bed and the hot end heat settings need to be, I tried to print my first test piece and all i got was a load of curly stuff stuck to the head !!

How annoying is it that you can't pause or stop the print in Pronterface !!!

The recommendation for Ormerod printing with PLA seems to be 65C and 205C. But these are normally set by the gcode file you are printing.

I started printing (PLA) with 200-2005 deg for the extruder and 60deg for the bed.
Have since reduce temperature to 190deg with some success at 185deg, keeping the bed at 60deg.
When printing at 200deg the perimeter was fine but the infill was not good (stocky and stringy).

I print with ambient at 18-20deg. I once did an overnight print in utility room (too noisy in living room...) and temperature was 13-14deg, the print was not looking nice at all.

Will post a number of pics of prints later.
