Are there people who want to help to create/redesign such a system. Or does anyone have something to add to this idea, problems etc.?

Community based (anyone can add, edit and change)
- Quick overview of the different models, firmwares, electronics systems, extruder systems and software systems.
- Overview of the costs + distributors + activities ( changes on github, bugs on github etc.)
- Using API of different platforms (github, forum...)
- The possibility to create and share new ideas, designs etc.
- A good manual on how to build, install and use a 3D printer.
- Open source system
- Content on the wiki is outdated
- Content on the wiki is not connected to other content (death pages)
FAQ from beginners?
- What kind of printer should I use? (Printrbot, RepRap prusa mendel, RepRap mendel, RepRap Darwin...)
- What kind of electronics should I use, what is the most simple, what is the cheapest? (Printrboard, Arduino Mega, Sanguino...)
- Does ‘this firmware’ (Sprinter, RepRap 5D...) works on this combination of electronics and model?
- What is most used? And what is the best?
