Much as I have enjoyed using my Mendel90 over the past two years, technology and the individual's needs move-on and so must I.
During my visit to TCT+Personalize 2015 last month I was greatly impressed by the
BCN3D Technologies Sigma printer. So much so, in fact, that I have just ordered one.
I had a wishlist for a dual-extrusion capable, quiet and enclosed printer. It does not satisfy the third wish but two-out-of-three is not bad and I can certainly work with it.
I look forward to using this new machine and I will shortly be giving my Mendel90 a minor refurbishment before it becomes my second printer (I find it prints ABS superbly and it might find utility for exotic materials).
I will still be a regular visitor to this forum but my contributions to e.g. Marlin will be somewhat less.
