Building milstrap

Hello All,
Im in Tampa. Im endeavoring to build a RepRap machine of sorts. I haven't decided which model yet.

I do have a cnc'd mill and a few lathes. and plenty of skill.

Looking to hear what other have done and why they decided on one over another.

Im thinking I would buy all the electronics and steppers and go from their.

Thoughts!

Borispider,
That looks great the pics. I took a brief look at your Photo stream. Thats an interesting looking printer you have their.
great job. Also it looks like you built your own extruder? I say this because the tip looks like its been sanded on etc...

As for my printer?
Sad. but its the same just sitting looking for some attention. I acquired a 10" Lathe back about the same time I started the Printer Project.
and was working on both of them side by side. The printer lost its "wind in the sails" while the Lathe? I was able to complete it. and have been doing lathe
type projects since. As can be seen here... http://thesn1per.blogspot.com/

Like I said earlier I do have all the parts to finish it so at this point its not even about the $$ its about just doing it!
perhaps I could get you to print me up a FAN so i get some "wind in the sails" !

My printer was from a KickStarter called the "PrintXel".
And yes the designer did make his own hotend.
When he is done moving he will be able to send out a replacement
for the cracked one. So might not print till then.

Did you need a fan or a fan mount? And do you have a .stl (model) for it?
