For the 1.1 I'm looking to another solution than the one kept from the Huxley, instead of the bolt beside the bed I will use the existing holes and countersunk bolt :
-easier
-less parts
Something like this :
It works, but it has one drawback : as the bolt is locked on the carriage side, it pop on the bed side ^^'
So the solution will be bolt-bed-nut-spring-carriage-nut like on most other metal bed (e.g. pictured below), the only thing is you need a bolt with a full length thread, that I will have... soon
